Dramat to Present “Little Shop of Horrors”

Westminster School’s Dramat Association will present “Little Shop of Horrors” Feb. 16-18 in Werner Centennial Center.

Feed the need for musical hilarity with this delicious sci-fi smash about a man-eating plant. A deviously delicious Broadway and Hollywood sci-fi smash musical, “Little Shop Of Horrors has devoured the hearts of theatergoers for over 30 years.

The meek floral assistant Seymour Krelborn stumbles across a new breed of plant he names “Audrey II” — after his co-worker crush. This foul-mouthed, rhythm and blues-singing carnivore promises unending fame and fortune to the down and out Krelborn as long as he keeps feeding it, BLOOD. Little Shop of Horrors is one of the longest-running off-Broadway shows!

Performances will take place at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 16 and Feb. 17, and at 2 p.m. Feb. 18. They are free and open to the public with general admission seating. Parking will be available in the lot adjacent to Armour Academic Center. The show is rated PG-13.
